How can I renew my books to keep them longer?

Answer:

If you would like to keep items a little longer than the original due date please renew them by following the steps below.

• Log in to the main Library Catalogue using your user id (the barcode number on your library ticket)
• Click on 'My Account' on the toolbar
• Click on 'Renew My Materials'
• Select what you want to renew and click on 'Renew Selected Items'

Please note that renewals are only possible for items you have borrowed from us. We do not generally renew items we have got for you through the Inter-Library Loans service. What is the Inter-Library Loans service?

What to do if your items are already overdue:

If you still require these items please renew them via the Library Service Desk, otherwise please return them to the Library as soon as possible. You will not be fined for overdues, unless another customer is waiting for the item and it has already been recalled from you (see below for more details on this.)
