Before asking for material from another library:
- You must check that we do not have a copy - use the main Library Catalogue and e-Journal A-Z Title list to do this.
- Be sure that you really need the item you have requested as inter-library loans are expensive.
- Please also read the FAQs about Inter-Library Loans on the Barrington Library website.
The Copyright Declaration is included within the request form. Please read the declaration to ensure that your intended use of the item requested complies with the legislation.
If your request is for the purpose of commercial/funded research you must indicate the commercial purpose of the copy on the electronic request form, by selecting "Commercial Purposes" button. The Library will contact you to let you know how much the request will cost. If you wish to proceed the Library will ask you to supply the cost code that is to be debited.
If you wish to request more than one article from a single conference or journal issue/volume, please request the entire proceedings volume or journal issue/volume. This is to comply with copyright regulations.
